Subject: Fw: POW/MIA Flags finally going up at Kentucky Rest Areas
POW/MIA Flags are going up at Kentucky Rest Areas
Ceremonial events are planned for Wednesday, April 15th at 10 AM at the following Rest Areas throughout Kentucky:

1. Shelbyville, KY Rest Area - Main Event

2. I-24 East Bound in McCracken County

3. I-65 North Bound in Simpson County

4. I-75 Northbound in Scott County

5. I-75 in Whitley County

As part of the ceremony, the plan is to coordinate raising these flags at ALL these Rest Areas at the same time.

The Transportation Cabinet will prepare a media advisory and send it out to all media outlets for photo opportunities.

PLEASE pass this on to your Organizations and request they show up at their nearest Rest Area. I realize that most people are working, which is even more apparent that the ones that aren't, come to the Ceremony. We have been fighting for this for a long time
