New Book Exposes Immorality of Illegal Immigration
Posted on February 15, 2009

Veterans Issues How does this affect our military veterans? They are coming back from war and cannot find decent jobs and if they do, their taxes help pay for illegal immigrants benefits.
This is not right. Thank you Father Pat Bascio for stepping forward to reveal all that is wrong with illegal immegration.
Read this book and ask why has this crime not been punished and dealt with before. Follow the money trail. Who benefits from the illegal immegrants? Not our legal Americans.

New Book Exposes Immorality of illegal immigration

Father Patrick Bascio and American Free Press have teamed up again. Father Pat's first book with us, Perfidy, co-written with Sgt. John Top Holland, was gobbled up by AFP readers. Now Father Pat sets his sights on illegal immigration and the many social and moral problems that come with conducting an "open borders" immigration policy. His new book is: THE IMMORALITY OF ILLEGAL IMMIGRATION. What follow are a few very short excerpts from the book covering some of the many points discussed in Father Bascio's encompassing book. They have been compiled by the AFP staff .

It is not a pleasant task for a priest to take a position that is not shared by the hierarchy of his church. This is especially true when that hierarchy's motives stem from the gospel teachings of assisting the poor and those most adversely affected by political or economic systems. It is the function of the Christian church to make a moral judgment about economic and social matters whenever the fundamental rights of the person demand it. However, after examining all the evidence and lis-tening to the voice of the American people, I believe that the Christian church, both here and abroad, has made a serious misjudgment, supporting a policy that has a long list of attendant evils. The Christian church currently favors an immigration policy that favors those who violate our laws rather than enter the legal process that leads to legal immigration. The Catholic Church in some quarters actually rec-ommends to its priests that they break the law by help-ing illegals who break the law. Protestant churches have also been complicit in such behavior.-Ed.] The church's position disappoints those who play by the rules, placing legal immigrants and businesses that respect our laws at a collective disadvantage. Fear of the loss of jobs, of cultural identity and of threats to security are genuine, based on such realities as 9-11.

We are in favor of immigration--- legal immigration. That is how most Americans were lucky enough to live or be born in this great nation. Immigration is not a problem; it is, in fact, America's gift to the world. But, the fact is that illegal immigrants are unlawfully present in the U.S. and most of them are providing fraudulent documents/identities for tax and other purposes.

ON THE RESPONSIBILITY OF THE MEXICAN GOVERNMENT

The immensely wealthy oligarchs of Mexico enjoy criticizing the plight of their fellow Mexicans in the United States, when the very reason for the plight is the fact that the average Mexican farm worker earns (in pesos) the equivalent to between 50˘ and $2 a day- and that's all day, 12-14 hours. If the government of Mexico invested in producing at least some of the items American industries go to Mexico to produce, and paid the workers decent wages, and provided them with a Bill of Rights, most Mexicans would remain at home. Amnesty disrupts Mexican family life, as the Mexican adult male, because of poverty, is forced to flee his home, his family and his culture. It benefits the wealthy oligarchy because they can leisurely continue to pay low wages to their own people. AFP Announces New Immigration Initiative On Heels of Victory

Several months ago, AFP sent its AFP READERSHIP COUNCIL * (AFPRC) mem-bers an issue of The. Council Courier -the AFPRC members-only quarterly newsletter-asking whether or not AFP should get more actively involved in the effort to stem illegal immigration and secure our southern bor-ders. AFPRC Chairman Vince Ryan also asked all AFPRC members to send us a letter for President Bush, telling him how they felt about the shameful incarceration of Ignacio Ramos and Jose Compean. The acting AFPRC secre-tary, Julia Foster, packaged up the letters-more than 770 of them-and sent them off to the White House, attention: George W. Bush. Dozens of other like-minded organizations also had their supporters inundate the Oval Office with calls and letters demanding the release of Ramos and Compean. We are happy to say, grassroots pressure has won the day again. Only recently, the White House announced Ramos and Compean would be freed by March 20, 2009. Mr. Bush commuted their sentences (both over a decade long) and the two agents will be allowed to return to their families. And that’s a major victory for the two Border Patrol agents and US patriots.

In addition to publicizing the cases of Ramos and Compean, the members of the AFPRC has also asked AFP to do more to expose the mounting dangers of illegal immigration. In response to the demands of the AFPRC, AFP has just wrapped up…and is offering for sale RIGHT NOW….our first-ever book on illegal immigration. The book, entitled The Immorality of Illegal Immigration, was written by a Catholic priest, Father Patrick Bascio. Bascio lambastes the One Worlders who want open borders between Mexico and America. He points out that illegal immigrants compose a large percentage of the drug-dealing gangs that litter the nation. He explains how the cost of free trade is immense, what with American citizens picking up the social bills wracked up by illegal immigrants who come to the United States to have babies, go to hospital emergency rooms for no-cost treatments and more free goodies. Bascio also tells us how illegal immigration is further impoverishing the black and white communities, competing directly with poorer folks for jobs and invading black neighborhoods.

There's much more in the book. But suffice it to say, it's a one-of-a-kind, the subject of which has put Bascio at odds with some church leaders. Bascio believes that American churches--Catholic and Protestant-should take a more forceful stance against immigration. This book is, in part, his argument to church leaders that condoning illegal immigration--even though the job of the church involves administering to those in need-is immoral. Every illegal alien the church helps to stay in America is one more problem that society will have to pay for eventually and deal with inevitably. As phase one of AFP's new immigration initiative, American Free Press is offering The Immorality of Illegal Immigration for the reduced price of $20 (reguraly $25.00).
